How pot odds work
Pot odds compare the amount you must call with the total pot you will compete for after calling. The required equity is the call divided by the final pot.
What counts as the current pot?
Enter everything already in the middle, including the opponent's current bet. Do not add your own call yet—the calculator does that for you.
Pot odds are not the whole decision
A profitable call also depends on whether your equity estimate is realistic, future betting, rake, tournament considerations, and whether all remaining players are accounted for.
Example
The pot is 1,000 and calling costs 300. After calling, the final pot is 1,300. Your required equity is 300 ÷ 1,300 = 23.08%.
